This application offers several noteworthy features:

 <li>Only photos and videos lacking location information within the active date range of the tracker are considered for tagging, ensuring relevance and efficiency.</li>
 <li>Location tracking is optimized to minimize battery usage; with "Battery Optimizations" enabled, updates occur only when significant movement is detected since the last recorded location. Testing conducted over all-day events has shown that Terra Lens utilizes at most 2% battery with optimizations enabled, compared to approximately 7% without. While moving, location updates occur roughly every 5-10 minutes with optimizations off, extending to 10-30 minutes with them on.</li>
 <li>Terra Lens does not download photos from iCloud for tagging. Instead, it analyzes the existing metadata and enhances it by appending location information, facilitating rapid tagging of over 1,000 photos or videos in mere seconds.</li>
 <li>The app prioritizes user privacy; all location data and images remain confidential as it functions offline and does not interface with any external online services. Its operation solely relies on iCloud Photos synchronization.</li>
 <li>When tagging images, Terra Lens employs interpolation between the two nearest GPS locations in time, effectively distributing the tag locations across the route rather than clustering them at the most recent GPS point. This dynamic approach allows for accurate situational representation, especially in rapid succession photo captures.</li>

The primary objective of Terra Lens is to simplify the tagging process for photos captured without built-in location data, particularly for users who sync with iCloud Photos.
